A Beatrice 1969-ben alakult lányzenekarként, akik főleg feldolgozásokat játszottak. 1971-ben csatlakozott Nagy Feró a zenekarhoz frontemberként. A következő években teljesen kicserélődött a tagság Nagy Feró körül. A zenekar megalakulása óta többször felbomlott, majd mindig újra szerveződött végül 2018-ban a Beatrice 40. születésnapját ünnepelte meg egy nagyszabású Aréna-koncerttel. 2018 óta a következő felállásban játszanak: Nagy Feró (ének), Laczik Ferenc (basszusgitár), Kékkői Zalán (gitár), Tari Botond (gitár, billentyűs hangszerek) és Nagy Hunor Attila (dob, ütőhangszerek). 2019. május 1-jén megjelent a jubileumi koncertet megörökítő DVD és dupla CD Beatrice 40 címmel.
